Proposed Veridian Featherwood Trails Development – Public Input and Discussion

The Town of Oregon is hosting a public input meeting on the proposed Featherwood Trails Development including the proposed Urban Service Area Amendment and annexation request.

The meeting will give residents, property owners, and interested parties an opportunity to learn about the proposal, ask questions, and share input on potential community impacts.

Discussion topics may include:

• Featherwood Trails development plans and timeline
• Urban Service Area Amendment and annexation process
• Stormwater management, drainage, and potential flooding concerns
• Water resource impacts and effects on neighboring properties
• Roads, traffic, Town-owned infrastructure, drainage systems, and future maintenance
• Potential impacts on the Oregon Rotary Bike Trail and surrounding community resources

The Town of Oregon welcomes public participation and encourages residents, property owners, and interested parties to attend, ask questions, and share comments.  Public input is an important part of the review process and will help inform future discussions.

If you are unable to attend, the Village will provide a timeline of additional public input opportunities. Public comment cards are available on the Town of Oregon website and will also be available at the public meeting. Written comments will be accepted by mail, by dropping them off at the Town Clerk's Office, or by submitting a completed comment card at the public meeting.  The Town will accept written comments through August 25, 2026.
