Running for Town Board: In 2024, the Town of Oregon will have two town board supervisor positions open.  As a potential candidate, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with election and campaign finance requirements that apply to your campaign.  You may obtain genearl information including required paperwork and dates to return from the Wisconsin Elections Commission.  If you would like a copy of paperwork, please request here https://townoforegonwi.gov/contact-us/.  Important Dates: December 1, 2023 – First day nomination papers can be circulated. December 22, 2023 – Deadline for incumbents not seeking re-election to file Notice of Non-candidacy. January 2, 2024  – All papers and forms due in Town of Oregon Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. January 5, 2024 – Deadline to challenge nomination papers. Necessary Forms Please refer to the Ballot Access Checklist for Non-Partisan Local Candidates.  The following forms must be completed and filed by 5:00 pm the first Tuesday in January in order for the candidate’s name to be placed on the ballot for the Spring Primary and/or the Spring General Election: Campaign Registration Statement Declaration of Candidacy Nomination Papers

No Trash and Recycling Pick-Up on Labor Day

Pellitteri Waste Systems Will Be Closed on Monday, September 4th, in Observance of Labor Day

Town of Oregon residents will be serviced one day later than their normal service day during the week of September 4th to September 9th.

Residents normally serviced on Friday will be serviced on Saturday, September 9th.

Your pick-up time may be altered since collection routes may be serviced differently, but please be sure to have your carts out by the usual time.

• Please review the Collection Calendar for your service day to determine which service days are for refuse only and which are for refuse plus recycling.

• Holiday Schedule — Holidays during a week will bump the following pick-ups out a day. For example, this week’s Independence Day holiday on Tuesday will push the Wednesday pick-ups to Thursday. Schedule changes due to holidays are shown on the Collection Calendars.
